I have said it many times in my blog http://penangfengshui.blogspot.com/2014/01/feng-shui-prediction-for-2014-part-4.html that the bazi of the li chun of 2014 is full of fire and the day master is strong yang fire, Bing fire and now, just after the Chinese New Year we all can feel the impact of the dried weather, isn't it?

My advice : PLEASE CONTROL YOUR TEMPER.

Visit to Bangkok Thailand

The Thai also realize the important of Bagua and you can see they put the Bagua Mirror at the Entrance of the tower to minimize the unwanted sha qi.

 You will find that that there are a lot of wire, electricity posts and overhead bridges surrounding the buildings and they will create awful impacts to the feng shui of Bangkok.

It is awesome to hang the picture of the King at the Qian Kua which is the North West of the house, the place for the King, Master of the house and the most powerful man in the any organisation. Hanging the picture at the back of your sitting place in your office also symbolize that powerful man in at the back of you to support you. For those who work in Public Bank, you may want to put the picture of the most powerful man of the bank to form the support for you.

孔子曰, '南面而听天下'.天南地北. When The great scholar of China, the Confucius talked about the I-Ching or Yi-Jing, he said "Face the South and listen (rule) to the world. In I-Ching or Yi-Jing we said the heaven/sky is in the South and the earth/land is in the North.

There is a similarity in between the Grand Palace and the Chitralada Palaceof Thailand with the Forbidden Palace of Beijing China i.e. all the palaces are facing exactly South.

The first Gua of the 64 gua is Qian Heaven Gua 乾为天卦and Qian Heaven Gua is a period 1 gua which is gua of the King. If you visit China, you will notice most of their important government buildings are facing the South.

How to enhance the relationship with your spouse?

I received a lot of queries from ladies who faced marital problems with their husbands. They came to me for help.

To enhance the relationship with your spouse, practise the Feng Shui remedies below:-

1.      According to Later Heaven Bagua, North-West is the place for the master of the house. This is an important sector to your husband. If there is a missing corner in the North-West, the husband will not like to stay in the house for too long or there will be no male master in the house. In short, the house is inauspicious to the man. It is crucial to remove all magazines or pictures of any ladies from the North-West as that will boost the romance luck of your husband, there may be many ladies around him all the time. Instead, the wife should put her picture there. Or, you could put your family picture there. This will make your husband loves you and the family more.

2.      Do you still hang your wedding photograph in your bedroom or has it been kept? You have to hang it back in your bedroom in order to enhance your relationship with your life companion. I notice a lot of clients like to hide their wedding photographs somewhere else especially those who have been married for many years. This will deteriorate the relationship between the couple.

3.      Put away all flowers from your house whether they are real or fake flowers. Flowers induce romance. The same applies to the Chinese vase. If there are Chinese vases with flowers or pictures of flowers in the North-West or South-West sector, please remove them now.

4.      Do not place a mirror facing the bed or stove. There should be only one stove in the kitchen instead of two as the stove represents the lady master. If there are 2 stoves in the kitchen, it means that there will be 2 lady masters. I have been to a rich man’s house for Feng Shui audit, there is a stove in the wet kitchen and another stove in the dry kitchen. I found that in fact the rich man has a mistress who is not staying in the same house!

5.      The South-west is the lady master’s sector. Remove all magazines or pictures of men from the South-West. Instead, you should put your husband’s picture and your family photo there.

6.      Mandarin Ducks, referred by the Chinese as “Yuan-yang” 鸳鸯, are featured in Oriental art and is a symbol of conjugal affection and fidelity. Mandarin ducks are regarded as faithful and lovely couples. You could place a pair of Mandarin Ducks decorative item near your bed to enhance your relationship with your life companion.

3.      Often, you will notice that there are flowers that grow beyond the fence of a house. It symbolizes that the husband will have undesired romance outside. Please make sure that you trim the flowers if they grow beyond the fence.

To those who are looking for your life partner, how do you improve your romance luck?

For those who were born in the year of tiger, horse and dog, it will be great if you give your lover flowers or bring her to gardens as you need the ‘plant’ element in order to enhance your relationship with your loved one.

For those who were born in the year of snake, rooster and ox, it will be superb if you bring your lover for tours around the city in your car or go for BBQs because you need the ‘fire’ element in order to boost your relationship with your loved one.

Whereas, for those who were born in the year of monkey, rat and dragon, it will be fabulous if you wear white t-shirts and take your lover for ice-cream because you need the ‘gold’ element in order to improve your relationship with your loved one.

For those who were born in the year of pig, rabbit and goat, it will be amazing if you bring your lover to the seaside because you need the ‘water’ element in order to develop good relationship with your loved one.

Apart from that, to enhance your romance luck, you could put some flowers without thorns in a Chinese vase in your house. For instance, if you want to help your eldest son to find his lover, you could do that in the East of your house, as according to “Later Heaven Bagua”, the East is the sector of the eldest son. Nevertheless, you could put a picture of a beautiful lady in the East too.

House Shifting and Earth Breaking Ceremonies after 4 Feb 2014立春

4 Feb 2014 6:04am立春 li chun is the actual day and time for us to enter into the year of horse, not the 1st day of Chinese New Year 31 Jan 14 正月初一. Thus, the baby who is born before 4 Feb 2014 6:04am is a snake.

If you are going to shift to your new house, you have to select auspicious dates & time according to the bazi (time of birth) of the family members and facing of the house for two very important dates i.e. Earth Breaking Date and House Shifting Date. After the date has been determined, a simple ceremony can be carried out. It is vital to conduct the ceremony to show our respect to the Earth and the surrounding.

Earth Breaking Date

1. Firstly, prepare 4 sets of fruits (apple, Mandarin orange or orange, banana and pear), some sweets and 3 cups of Chinese tea.

2. Put the things at 4 different locations i.e. North West, South East, North East and South West of your house. Hence, there should be 4 sets of fruits, some sweets and 3 cups of Chinese tea at 4 different locations respectively.

3. For those who use joss stick, pray and put them onto the fruits until they have completed burning. For those who do not use joss stick, just pray at the sectors. Say your wishes when you pray.

4. The schedule of praying is from North West; follow by South East, then North East and lastly the South West.

5. Break a small piece of the wall.

However, after 4 Feb 2014, you should avoid breaking the wall at the below locations:-

1. North West sector of your house – 5 yellow 五黃位.

2. North sector of your house – 3 killings 三煞位

3. South sector of your house – Grand Duke太岁位

4. North sector of your house – Year breaker岁破位

In short, you should not ‘touch’ the South, North and North West prior ‘touching’ other places. This is to show that we ‘respect them’. After breaking the small piece at the correct place, you can proceed to renovate any other places. For the year of horse, you can break the small piece of wall at the places other than the places that mentioned earlier. In another word, you can ONLY start the renovation after the ceremony.

It is crucial to maintain a peaceful mind when the ceremony is being carried out. No argument should be taken place during the ceremony. Pray with a sincere and pure heart. You can consume the fruits after the prayer.

Shifting Ceremony

1. Firstly, prepare 4 sets of fruits (apple, Mandarin orange or orange, banana and pear), some sweets and 3 cups of Chinese tea.

5. After the prayers, you should place 柴米油鹽酱醋茶 cooking material such as rice, oil, salt, sauce, vinegar and tea leaves into the kitchen. Subsequently, boil a kettle of water or cook something to symbolize that you have started to occupy the kitchen and the house.

6. Activate the qi of the house by switching on all the lights and fans.

7. It is superb if you can hold a house-warming party to gain more qi of the human when there are lots of laughter and children praying around the house.

8. It is crucial to maintain a peaceful mind when the ceremony is being carried out. No argument should be taken place during the ceremony. Pray with a sincere and pure heart.
