Continuing from my previous Feng Shui
predictions, it is highly likely that 2024 will be a tumultuous year, marked by
volatility, potential conflicts, and a strong sense of struggle. It is more of
a year associated with military campaigns and battles rather than a period of
peace and prosperity. Legal disputes and internal conflicts are anticipated,
making it a challenging year globally for economic investments. Even leading
enterprises and international institutions are expected to face difficulties.
My advice is to adopt a defensive strategy.
In the Nine Periods, the 正神resides in the south, and the 零神is in the
north. Therefore, areas with mountains/land in the south and water in the north
are considered favorable. However, West Malaysia does not possess these
conditions, whereas East Malaysia does.
Indonesia is relocating its capital
closer to East Malaysia, indicating boundless development prospects for East
Malaysia. The development potential in East Malaysia is substantial, with ample
opportunities for further exploration and development.
I've previously mentioned that if we
analyze Malaysia's birth date using the principles of Bazi, Malaysia's destiny
is characterized by a very weak Yin Wood (乙阴木), akin
to delicate flowers that thrive under protection in a greenhouse, requiring
ample water and wood elements to flourish. In 2024, the Year of Jia Chen, which
is a Yang Wood and Dragon Earth year, the delicate Yin Wood can potentially
benefit from the robust Yang Wood, signifying financial gains in the first half
of the year. However, in the second half of the year, there may be challenges
as the weak Yin Wood tries to overcome the powerful Dragon Earth. Additionally,
the Rooster, representing Malaysia, forms a combination with the Dragon in
2024, creating Metal (金). Combination/harmony is, of course,
better than the clash in 2023, but the already fragile Yin Wood is once again
restrained by the influence of Metal. This poses uncertainties as the already
fragile Yin Wood is further challenged by Metal, potentially leading to
outspoken advocacy for others but with uncertain personal benefits.
In Malaysia's Bazi, the conflicting
branches of Shen and Hai indicate a continuous presence of conflicts. In the
10-year Luck Cycle from 58 to 67 years old, Malaysia, at 66 years old in 2024,
experiences the clash between Si and Yin, suggesting unavoidable conflicts. The
presence of the Si and Yin conflict, along with the Shen and Yin clash,
indicates significant resistance and transformations. However, the overall
outlook is relatively stable due to the strength of water and wood elements,
which signify potential wealth but with constant fluctuations.
As Malaysia enters the age of 68 to
77, the clash between Xin and Yi emphasizes a challenging decade. The Xin and
Yi clash represents high pressure, increased conflicts, and a strong influence
of Metal. The combination of Chou with Malaysia's birth branches of You and Si
forms a potent Metal combination, intensifying the Metal influence on the
already fragile Yin Wood. This may manifest in a love of face-saving
appearances and the constant outflow of wealth.
In 2024, caution is advised in real
estate investments. Preserving financial strength for long-term investments is
recommended, while short-term stock trading may not be suitable.
I have previously mentioned that the
Nine Period (2024-2043) signify a Fire period, which the external of fire’s appearance
is dazzling, but the core is hollow. The virtual world, represented by the
internet, is an example of this hollowness. As a result, cyber fraud is
expected to be rampant as the surface presents an attractive facade while lacking
substance.
The recent civil war in northern
Myanmar triggered by cyber fraud is not surprising, considering that Myanmar is
located in the South East Asia, the location of the Flying Three Stars in 2023.

where the Southeast Asia region was predicted to experience continuous turmoil
and unavoidable political instability. Thailand has faced prolonged challenges
in electing a new prime minister after the general election, and Malaysia's
political landscape is also far from stable, marked by intense competition
between political parties. The appearance of the Two Black Illness Star in the
southeast in 2024 (https://penangfengshui.blogspot.com/2022/11/2023-2023-feng-shui-prediction-part-3.html)
suggests that Southeast Asia should be particularly cautious about the spread
of diseases.
I mentioned in a post on November 26,
2022 (https://penangfengshui.blogspot.com/2022/11/2023-2023-feng-shui-prediction-part-3.html)
that the economic performance in the northwest, especially in Penang, is likely
to be poor in 2023 due to the presence of the most inauspicious Five Yellow
star. Given that Penang is a major semiconductor-producing state and the global
semiconductor industry has faced challenges, the economic performance of Penang
in 2023 has been affected. In 2023, Penang witnessed ongoing conflicts between
the current Chief Minister and the former Chief Minister, and the ruling party
also lost numerous seats to the opposition in the state election.
However, the appearance of the Four
Wen Chang Star in 2024 suggests a relatively good year for Penang, as the Wen
Chang Star is associated with high intelligence, contributing to the
technological development of Penang.
