台灣师范大学易经专家曾仕強教授说孔子也算过命. 在<论语>里, 子曰：“吾十有五而志于学，三十而立，四十而不惑，五十而知天命，六十而耳顺，七十而从心所欲，不逾矩。”
孔子说：“我十五岁有志于学问；30岁就可以独立处事了；40岁便遇事不迷惑；50岁就已经认识到了自己这一生的道路；60岁，一听别人言论便可以分辨真假，判明是非；听得进不同的意见, 到了70岁便随心所欲，做任何事都不越出规矩, 但是待人接物自然而然地就符合道德礼教了。”

Confucius said:" When I was 15 years old I was interested in learning; age 30 independent; the age of 40 not confused; 50 years, and he has realized his life course; 60, listening to others ' remarks will be able to distinguish truth from falsehood, distinguish between right and wrong, and to the age of 70 will get his own way, doing thing that does not go beyond the rules, interpersonal skills naturally consistent with morality.
