易经里面最凶的第29卦习坎就是古人最怕的大江大浪大水的卦, 水里面可能有漩涡，但我们看不到，以前的人如果走到黄河，长江，大水就会阻挡他前进，所以他们就最怕水, 坎这个字是一个土和一个欠，欠土因此是水，陸地如果凹陷欠土就会聚水, 所以我们讲坎坷就是有困难。
所有纯卦都是由单字来取卦名如乾卦坤卦离卦巽卦震卦兌卦艮卦, (纯卦如乾卦都是上卦为乾卦, 下卦也为乾卦) 除了习坎卦, 之所以叫习坎卦，是因为人一生，总是要不断的面对困难所以我们要不断的学习面对坎坷困难, 因此叫习坎. 但易经也在提醒我们，只要我们乐观面对，不断充实自己，接下来的卦就是第三十卦的离卦，离卦就是火卦，就是两个太阳，也就是黑暗过后就是光明。所以新冠肺炎疫情之后就是复兴。
坎为水，水可载舟，也可覆舟。水是资源，是万物所需，一旦没有水整个地球的生物都无法生存。但是水也是危险，坎陷的程度各有不同，在不同的时间都有不同，处理的方式也不尽相同，人的困境犹如水的深度不同的，不同阶段有不同的困难, 因此卦的初爻到上爻坎陷的程度各有不同, 初爻是水底下的坎陷, 上爻是水面上的坎陷。跟佛理是同样的道理，佛说人必须要经历生老病死的苦。因此，我们要学习老子所说的上善若水，把水当作我们的学习对象，以柔克刚是最佳的途径，水也是代表着智慧，用智慧解决问题，而不是用蛮力。
离卦是文明的象征，据说是六千年前伏羲从人的生活中体会中出食物是要用火煮熟了才吃会比较好，这是当时一个重大的发明发现。
设陷阱捕野兽也是从观察火而得到的一个启发。如果一个大森林着火了，发生大火灾，要把火灭下来，其实我们要做的就是隔离大森林，因为火需要附靠东西来燃烧的，没有东西来燃烧，火就不会继续燃烧，把大森林旁边的大树砍掉隔离起来, 火就沒有燃烧物可以让它继续燃烧, 那火就灭下来了而不能继续燃烧了, 新冠肺炎疫情的控制方法不就是这样吗? 因此火在易经八卦叫离卦; 隔离的离, 火离卦也因此代表’附靠附丽’，就是火要附靠物质来燃烧，就好像姜子牙附丽周文王。设陷阱捕捉野兽就是一个隔离的方式。因此离卦对人类文明的贡献是相当的大的。火也是代表光明正大。险难中必须要认清对象依附，不可趁人之危。
火在易经代表也美丽因为火燃烧起来时都非常美丽, 因此我们都喜欢看烟花.离卦也之所以叫离卦因为它也代表太阳，太阳出来了就要离开，因为根据后天八卦2024-2043年为离卦运因此人们要离群索居，现在离卦的力量已经很大了，不必等到2024年。新冠肺炎疫情使到大家必须隔离起来.
文明到一个程度也要适可而止。凡事都要适可而止。物质文明之外，还要发展精神的文明。现在不是因为物质文明，大家都很紧张的过, 生活都很压力而产生的很多文明病像心脏病与忧郁症吗？物质和精神就像阴阳，两边都要阴阳调和，互相沟通。
Xikan, the fiercest hexagram 29 in
the Book of Changes, is the hexagram the ancients most worried about. There may
be whirlpools in the water, but we can’t see it. If people in the past walked
to the Yellow River or the Yangtze River, the huge rivers would block them from
going forward, so they were most afraid of water. The word kan in Chinese is
written with a soil and a owe. Because of the owed soil, it is water. If the
land is sunken and lacks of soil, water will gather. It means complication.
All pure hexagrams are named with a
single word such as Qian Gua Kun Gua Li Gua Xun Gua Zhen Gua to Gua Gen Gua, (Pure
hexagrams such as Qian hexagrams are the upper hexagrams as Qian hexagrams, and
the lower hexagrams are also Qian gua) except for Xikan Gua, the reason why it
is called Xikan Gua is because a person has to constantly face difficulties
throughout his life. So we have to constantly learn to face ups and downs and
difficulties, so it is called Xi Kan. Xi means learn in Chinese. But the Book
of Changes also reminds us that as long as we face up with optimism and
continue to enrich ourselves, the next hexagram is the hexagram of the
thirtieth hexagram, which is the Fire hexagram. The Fire Gua is formed by two
suns, which means that after the darkness is the light. So after the new Covid
19 pandemic, there is a recovery.
Human beings need water and it can
carry a boat but it can overturn it as well. Water is a resource and is needed
by all things. Once there is no water, the entire earth's creatures cannot
survive. But water is also dangerous. The degree of complication is different,
at different times, and the way to deal with it is different. People’s life is
like the depth of water, and different stages have different difficulties. Therefore,
the degree of complication from the first line to the upper line of the
hexagram is different. The first line is the complication you will face if you
are deep under the water, and the upper line is the depression that you will
encounter on the water surface. It is the same principle as Buddhism. The
Buddha said that people must experience the suffering of birth, old age, sickness
and death. Therefore, we must learn from Lao Tzu's saying that goodness is like
water, and treat water as our learning object. It is the best way to overcome
rigidity with softness. Water also represents wisdom. Use wisdom to solve
problems instead of forceful way.
Li Gua is a symbol of civilization.
It is said that Fuxi learned six thousand years ago that it is better to cook
food with fire before eating. This was a major invention and discovery at that
time.
Setting traps to catch animals is
also an inspiration from the observation of fire. If a large forest is on fire,
in fact, what we have to do is to isolate the large forest, because the fire
needs to be attached to something in order to continue burning. If there is
nothing to burn, the fire will not continue to burn. The big tree next to the
big forest is cut down and isolate the forest. If the fire has no burning
material to keep it burning, and the fire will be extinguished and cannot
continue to burn. Isn't
this the way to control the Covid-19 pandemic? Therefore, the fire is called Li
Gua in the I Ching. It means ‘isolation’ in Chinese. The hexagram therefore
stands for 'attachment', that is, fire must be attached to matter to burn, just
like Jiang Ziya Fuli attached to Zhou Wenwang. Setting traps to catch animals is
a way of isolation. Therefore, the contribution of fire is the key to human
civilization. Fire also represents uprightness. It is necessary to recognize
the man we will to attach to, not to take advantage of others.
Fire is also beautiful in the Book of
Changes. Because fire is very beautiful when it burns, we all like to watch
fireworks. Li Gua is also called Li Gua because it also represents the sun. The
sun will leave when it comes out, because according to Later Heaven Bagua 2024 -
2043 is the period 9 of the Li Gua, so people will live in isolation. Now the
power of the Li Gua is so great that there is no need to wait until 2024. The Covid-19
pandemic has made it necessary for everyone to be isolated.
To a certain level of civilization should be adequate. Everything has to be enough. In addition to material civilization, spiritual civilization must also be developed. Isn't it because of material civilization, everyone is living very nervously, and life is very stressful, and there are many civilization diseases like heart disease and depression? Matter and spirit are like yin and yang, both sides must reconcile yin and yang and balance up with each other.
