槟𡷊东方现祥瑞：元宝盈门，神龟献吉
熟悉我的朋友，定常听我提起槟城东方那独特的Egate建筑。其造型设计，酷似一枚古意盎然的“元宝”——那象征着财富与吉祥的古代钱币形态。而一个耐人寻味的事实是，自IJM承建并落成Egate之后，其集团业务便如旭日东升，蒸蒸日上，发展势头日益强劲。
如今，在Egate前方这片靠水的土地上，一座崭新的文化地标——林祥雄美术馆即将拔地而起。更令人称奇的是，这座美术馆的设计灵感，竟同样源自一种深具灵性的瑞兽形象：“龟形”。这一设计理念，恰如其分地呼应并融入了槟岛独特的地形格局与自然气韵之中。
此前我曾多次提及，若从高空俯瞰寰宇，槟城岛屿的地形轮廓堪称全球最肖似“神龟”者。我曾解释很多回为什么在古老的风水学中，龟被誉为“灵兽”，而且其存在历史甚至早于人类文明。更进一步的说明,
相传大禹治水之时，洛水之中便有神龟浮出，其甲背上赫然呈现由一到九的神秘数字纹路，世称“洛书”。这一神迹，正是后世《易经》中后天八卦与九宫格理论体系形成的重要源头。龟，因此承载着长寿、智慧、稳定与承载天机之吉兆。
如今，在槟𡷊东方这片靠水充满生机的土地上，不仅早已矗立着象征财富的“元宝”建筑（Egate），如今又将迎来蕴含天地灵气的“神龟”化身（林祥雄美术馆）。有神龟在水旁守护着后方的元宝, 两大蕴含深厚文化底蕴与祥瑞之气的意象在此地交相辉映，绝非偶然。这精妙的布局与呼应，不禁令人推想，其背后或有深谙风水之道与天地玄机的“高人”在运筹帷幄，指点迷津，共同构筑着这片土地非凡的气象与格局,
更守护着槟城。

Signs in Eastern Penang: Ingot of Wealth, Divine Turtle of Fortune
Frequent
followers of my perspectives will recall how often I’ve highlighted the
distinctive Egate building in eastern Penang. Its architecture
masterfully mirrors an ancient yuánbǎo (元宝) – a
traditional gold ingot symbolizing prosperity and fortune. Notably, since IJM
completed Egate’s construction, the conglomerate’s ventures have soared
like the morning sun, achieving ever-greater momentum.
Now,
upon the water-adjacent land before Egate, a new cultural
landmark rises: the Lin Xiang Xiong
Art Gallery. Astonishingly, its design draws inspiration from another
potent emblem – the "turtle form". This concept
seamlessly harmonizes with Penang Island’s unique topography and natural energy
flow.
As
I’ve long emphasized, Penang’s aerial silhouette strikingly resembles a cosmic
turtle – arguably the world’s most distinct turtle-shaped island. I’ve
often explained why Feng Shui tradition venerates turtles as spiritual
beasts existing since prehistoric times. Legend recounts how
during Emperor Yu’s flood control era, a divine turtle emerged from
the Luo River, its shell etched with a mystical 1-9 numerical pattern known as
the "Luòshū" (洛书). This celestial revelation became the cornerstone
of the I Ching’s Later Heaven Bagua and Nine
Palaces Grid systems. Thus, the turtle embodies longevity, wisdom,
stability, and heavenly blessings.
Today,
Eastern Penang’s vibrant waterfront hosts not only the wealth-attracting "Golden
Ingot" (Egate) but now welcomes the "Divine
Turtle" incarnate (the Art Museum). Here, the turtle stands sentinel
by the water, guarding the ingot behind it. This convergence of two profoundly
auspicious symbols transcends coincidence. Such deliberate synergy suggests
a mastermind – deeply versed in Feng Shui and cosmic
principles – orchestrating Penang’s destiny. Their unseen hand shapes this
land’s extraordinary energy matrix, safeguarding our island’s future.
