WORK FROM HOME will be the future trend. Expensive office places like Singapore
and Hong Kong have already started it long ago. Property industry will go downhill and office rental will be affected. Period 8 is earth but period 9 which soon to
start on 2024 is fire element. Internet, online shopping, hand phone apps, food
delivery, AI, robotic and portal delivery are all fire related industries.
Then
how to transform the property "earth" into "fire"?
Time
for developers to put "fire" elements into their earth. E.g.
properties with fiber optic for high speed Internet, smart cities, smart homes.
Another good idea is the condo or guarded residences, should have shared office or conference meeting room with sophisticated IT facilities. Residents will use it for ad-hoc meeting place just
like the hotel's business lounge.
Also,
the new properties may equipped with a DIY receptionist to collect all the
delivered food, medicine, postage with dedicated post boxes which are operated
with the mobile phone with password or QR. This will ensure social distance to
be maintained. Also, not forgetting the population is getting aging. Thus, the design has to be user friendly to aged community.
Learning
from the Nokia/Sony's fall Vs Raise of iPhone/Samsung. Apple can succeed due to
apps and ecosystem (software) instead of just emphasizing on selling the hardware
which is the handphone. In YiJing, Hardware is Yang and Software is Yin. If the
property developers only focus on selling the house which is the hardware or
only focus on the yang, then it is time now to emphasize on the yin which is the
software by putting the FIRE element as mentioned above into house. Apple is
not the creator of mobile phone but they bring phones to the next level by
focusing on the contents and ecosystem.
