Its hard to find a feng shui master like you, so friendly, humble and caring. I came across a few masters, quite selfish and not willing to help when asked to explain certain points of feng shui! The flying star no 7 is entering into the central of the annual flying star chart. The flying star no 7 is the 破軍 (broken army) which means loss of wealth, possible arguments, medical compilations, war and potential robberies is at the central of the chart of the annual flying stars, hence it is a year full of political instability, viruses, diseases, terrorism and arguments. As the flying star no 7 is entering into the central of the annual flying star chart, I predict that the 中东 Arabic countries are going to go through a turbulence year with a number of terror activities and political instability. Most likely, there will be wars around the world such as the Korea. Also, it is most likely that the general election of Malaysia is going to be held on 2011.

We should place a glass of water at the centre of your house to minimise the bad impact as the flying star 7 is gold and by placing a glass of water, the gold will use its energy to produce the water and hence will reduce its energy. Frankly speaking, it is very simple and you do not have to spend lots of money to purchase the expensive feng shui items like other feng shui masters will advise you to do so that they make lots of money from you!

Feng Shui Trip Around Penang Island

Honestly, I enjoyed taking my students around the Penang Island to show them the truth values of feng shui by indicating to them the real life examples of what feng shui can do for us. A special thanks to Benedict for coming all the way from Kota Bharu, Kelantan to attend the class. I really touched to have him here. He has to take a flight to KLIA and then took a bus to Penang. It is a nice place with lush and green environment, apart from having the balance of the five elements 五行. The prices of the properties are relatively much cheaper than what we have in Penang Island. A 2/3 storey terrace house with a full- facility clubhouse with gated and guarded with perimeter fencing only cost you RM280K to RM330K.

Tanjung Bunga is one of places in Penang that has the best feng shui and it is the residence area for many wealthy guys. It is extremely auspicious to stay close to the rich and loaded guys to get the good qi from them. It is apparently auspicious for those require plant and water elements in their bazi. This is because "Bunga" is flower in Malay Language and flower is plant element. Obviously, the Tanjung Bunga is close to sea, thus those who require water element, Miami Green Condominium may be a good choice as some of the units' balconies are fronting the sea in the North. In feng shui, North is the direction for the water.

Nevertheless, for those who reside in the Miami Green Condominium whose units' main doors are facing the lift, please place a divider after the main door to block it. These units are in fact auspicious for the medical surgeons and hair stylists as scissor is a crucial tool for these people in their careers. When your unit is facing the lift, the doors of the lift are similar to two pieces of knives and it is like a scissor. Apart from that, it is similar to a tiger is sitting in front of your main door opening and closing its mouth. I was told that the management of the condominium does not allow the residents of the condominium to place a pot of big plant in front of their main doors. Thus, you need to place a divider in your house at your main door to minimise the bad qi.

Also, there are some missing corners in the house. In feng shui, the best shape of house is square in shape and I noticed that many apartments do not have this luxury due to the limitation in the building layout design. Apart from that, if the washroom is facing the door of the master room and the attached bathroom is facing the bed, please

1. Place a divider to block it.

2. Install a 'door closer' to make sure the door is always closed by itself automatically. If this is done, then it is advisable to install an exhaust fan in the washroom to suck the dirty air from the washroom.

3. Install a 'Japanese curtain' at the door of the washroom to minimise the dirty qi from escaping from the washroom and hit you.

Bear in mind, the air or qi from the washroom is always dirty. It is crucial to take it seriously because you will spend long hours on the bed especially when you sleep averagely 7-8 hours there daily.

I visited an Indian Christian family for feng shui audit and was told that one of the siblings fell sick after shifting in a house until she could not go to work. Eventually, I found that she was sleeping right in front of a toilet door! The air or qi from the washroom is always dirty and inauspicious and it will affect your health particularly. The worst case is when you have your stove facing the toilet!

When you step into the year of rabbit, your luck may not be very promising. It is advisable for you to go to the temple or church in the beginning of spring before 4/2/2011 to pray for good fortune and it is helpful to dispel the disturbance of the fearful star.

Addition to that, there is ‘Jian Feng’ and a fearful star of ‘Fu Shi’; they will affect the concentration of students in their studies. It will be hard for them to concentrate in their studies, hence, if you are the parents, please go to temple in the beginning of spring to pray for good fortune of your kids.

However, there are still some auspicious stars in 2011. 'Jin Kui’, represents there is a good opportunity to start a business. If you always dream of becoming a boss yourself, in this year you will have the opportunity to implement your plan. ‘Jin Kui’ is a wealth star. 'Jiang Xing’ is a star of authority and power. However it is a military general star, which means you have to fight in order to achieve the outstanding record.

'Disease Star’ appears; therefore please take extra care of your health. You should ensure that you consume healthy food and do regular exercises.
There a star of‘wang shen’ appears too. ‘Wang shen’ is a star of argument and lightly will cause unnecessary argument due to money matter. It will also cause you to think irrationally and you cannot see any result after you put in your effort. You will tend to think unnecessarily and make you emotionally depressed.

Ox may feel lonely this year. Budget 2011 to build the Warisan Merdeka, 100 Storey Skyscraper.

If you have been following my blog, you will notice that I m the one who always strongly against building skyscrapers. This is because in feng shui, we look for harmony in qi. We do not wish to obtain qi that is too vigorous or rapid which is considered as too ‘yang’ or ‘positive’ in feng shui. It is like if you get a strong shine of hot Sunlight directly to your house daily, that will create inauspicious qi. Vice versa, we also cannot obtain qi which is too ‘yin’ or ‘negative’ either. Thus, it is inauspicious if you stay in a bedroom which there is no Sunlight can shine into the room at all, the qi there will be too ‘yin’. Being the tallest building in the city, the 100 storey Warisan Merdeka is too ‘yang’ or it has too much positive energy because when the Sun rises; it will shine on the skyscraper first. It is the first building to get the Sun light.

Everything in this world is talking about ‘balancing’. We do not want the extreme. For instance, a burning hot Sun makes us uncomfortable but neither do we love to stay in a place with -10 degree Celsius. In Chinese, we say 水能载舟也能覆舟 Water can help to sail a boat and if the flow of the water is too strong then it will overturn a boat. Look at the recent flood in Pakistan and China. We need water but too much of water harm us.

Moreover, being the tallest building in the city, the 100 storey Warisan Merdeka does not have any support as it does not have the supports from Green Dragon and Black Turtle 左青龙 后玄武. Instead, it is the support for other buildings. Bear in mind, the Ming Emperor永乐皇帝 built and created a hill at the back of the Forbidden City to create support for himself. Think about it, even the Emperor who was the most powerful man in that time required a back of support, how about us?

If you do a research, it is not hard for you know the impacts of building the tallest skyscrapers:-
1. When the then world's tallest building, the Empire State Building, New York was completed in 1931, the United States fell into a great economic depression.
2. Chicago built the Sears Tower in 1974 and in the same year, the United States faced an economic recession.
3. When the Petronas Twin Towers were completed, Malaysia did not turn prosperous because of it. Instead, it fell into a slump. Today, Malaysia’s petroleum reserve is depleting.
4. When Taiwan built Taipei 101 in 2003, its economy suffered a severe blow from the global financial tsunami.
5. Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building in Dubai and many people know that Dubai is currently facing a debt crisis.

Gold Coast Garden Bay is a good choice for those whose bazi require plant, gold and water elements because the place is called Gold Coast and it is next to the sea. Also, there will be lots of plants in the garden.

If there is a construction near your house, watch out! The bad qi will bring very bad effect to the health of the family members. The dust, dirty air and noise that caused by the construction will ruin the feng shui of the place. Thus, something need to be done to minimise the inauspicious qi while the construction is taking place there. A lot of clients always complained to me that they noticed that their luck and the health of their family members deteriorated when there was a construction taking place near their houses.

If the construction is at the North which is the direction of the water element, block the inauspicious qi from the construction by placing a stone or crystal followed by a red packet (ang pao), then a money plant, then a glass of water and eventually a coin. This is because we need to clash the water element at the North with an earth element which is a stone or crystal but the energy of the earth element alone is not sufficient to fight the water at the North. Thus, it needs the support from the red packet which is the fire element as the fire produces earth. The fire then is supported by a plant, then the water and eventually the metal from coin. Apply the same theory if the construction is taking place in other directions. It is quite tedious for me to illustrate it here and I will illustrate in detail in my next coming book.

The Sanctuary at Batu Uban is a good choice for those whose bazi require earth as Batu is earth in Malay Language.

I noticed that the roads in the residence area are not straight but instead they are bend and curve. It is auspicious to have bend and curve rivers or roads instead of a straight river or road near your house.

If you reside in the Twin Tower Condo in Penang and if the washroom is right at the centre of your house, please try to minimise the usage of the washroom in the middle of the unit. It is inauspicious to have a washroom right at the middle of the unit but due to some limitation in the building layout design, some buildings are unavoidable to have the washroom at the centre of the house. You can take your shower in this washroom but try not to do any 'big or small businesses' there if possible.

I am going to conduct a feng shui class and appreciate your inputs and feedbacks.

Yesterday, I did my last check on my book with the title of “How to Enjoy Your Life with Good Feng Shui?” before printing it and suddenly I have an idea ….. 2011 is a good year for those who born the year of rat.
‘Wen Chang Xing’ means intelligent and good fortune. It is helpful for students in their studies. You are smarter this year.
‘Fu De’ and ‘lucky star’ are two superb fortune stars. They indicate that you have great potential in your career. You do not have to work too hard but the helps that you require will come naturally. The opportunities will appear in front of you. If you can grasp the good fortune in time and take all effort to accomplish the tasks assigned by your boss, your boss will appreciate what you have done. He will let you take charge and provide more responsibilities to you by letting you managing more important projects. You have to cherish it as this is his initial step to promote you.
Tian De’ is a very good fortune star. It means long life and do not commit in any offence. Its virtue is positive virtue and its effect is obvious. ‘Tian De’ will turn all the bad luck into good luck. It is different compare to other good stars such as ‘Xie Shen’ and ‘Di Xie’, because these two stars need to see misfortune first before turn them into good luck. However, ‘Tian De’ will directly prevent any bad luck matter from occurring. This enables you to concentrate in completing the work that your boss delegates to you.
The exempt of ‘peach blossom’ especially with the appearance of ‘Xian Chi’ happens for the rat, thus, the rat has to be watchful of undesired romance with confused feelings.
In this year, the appearance of the ‘Hong Luan Xing’ illustrates there will be some happy events such as wedding and adding of new member to the family. If you are still a single rat, you may look forward to find a suitable companion in this year.

The Feng Shui of Singapore part 3

I received the article about the feng shui of Singapore from a friend of mine and feel some of the points are quite logical and hence I did some amendments and post it here to share with you.

Ever wonder why Singapore is known as a Garden City?
If you were to look at Singapore from the top, Singapore resembles a crab, with its mouth the Singapore River and its back facing Malaysia.
We all know that cooked crab (that means dead crab) is red, the colour of barren ground. But a live crab is basically a dark shade of green. So, by planting trees, you make Singapore look green and not red, and therefore alive.
Earlier, I said in my blog http://penangfengshui.blogspot.com/2010/07/feng-shui-of-singapore-part-2.html that the one dollar coin displays a bagua, symbolic octagonal (8-sided) object and bagua is a powerful tool in feng shui and look at the road tax label and the country's fifty dollar bill, do you see a bagua too?

I m thinking that if the Singapore Government could believe in feng shui which I always regard it as a Chinese ancient powerful science and made Singapore a highly recognised country in the world even though it is only a small island. Why doesn’t the Penang Government follow their footstep and hire a group of renowned feng shui masters to help making Penang to shine brightly like Singapore. Of course, this group of feng shui masters does not include me.

Honestly, smart like specialist doctors, professional engineers, renowned entrepreneurs and etc came to me for solutions because they appreciate the ancient powerful science. Thus, nothing can stop me from sharing the great knowledge with others even though I do not like to force anyone to believe in it. Come to me if we are fated. Thank you very much.

Does North Korea Leader, Kim Jong-il believe in feng shui?

period 8, 2004 to 2023 is a period for the young men to shine brightly as star no 8 is at the Gen gua in the Later Heaven Bagua. Gen gua is the gua of the youngest son. Kim Jong-il does not pass his heir to his eldest or second son but instead to his youngest son, Kim Jong-Un! Moreover, Kim Jong-Un is very young, may be 26 or 27?? Isn't it unbelievable? What was I doing when I was 26 27? I was just a junior engineer but he is going to rule a country soon!

Why the Malaysian Government is trying to cool down the high valued properties?

In first half of 2010, it is good for those who engage in the profession of water (What are the profession of gold and water? Please refer to my book http://www.penangfengshui.com/index.php?pages=book_feng_shui pages 13 and 14). Banking industry is the gold element. This is due to the fact, 2010 tiger year is Geng Yin Nian 庚寅年. Geng is yang gold hence the performance results of those financial industries are undoubtedly excellent http://penangfengshui.blogspot.com/2010/08/strong-banking-results-boost-world.html.

Yin (tiger) is plant and hence there is an adjustment in the earth element industry in the second half of 2010. The property industry is the industry of earth element. This is due to the fact that the plant is there to crush the earth. You will notice that the Malaysian Government is trying to cool down the increment trend of the high valued properties, especially in Penang Island and Kuala Lumpur. As the matter of fact, the policy to reduce the percentage of the bank loan to the property purchasers has been enforced by the Governments of China, Singapore and Hong Kong earlier this year. In fact, the period 8 (2004 -2023) is the period of earth element hence the property, beauty and cosmetic industries should continue to out-perform. Go for the stocks that involve with plant and fire elements such as medical, plantation, electronic and etc.

Do you know that the South Korea had been influenced strongly by the ancient knowledge of I-Ching 易经? I-Ching is one of the great recoveries of men and it existed in this world approximate 6000 years ago. The word I易 is in fact a combination of the Sun 日and the Moon 月. In other word, it is a study about the yang or positive energy and the yin or the negative energy. It is a book about the philosophy of change as our Earth does not stop revolving; the magnetic energy of the Earth will not be the same all the time. Moreover, the gravitational force pull between the Earth and the Moon, Sun and other planets will keep on changing all the time. I-Ching 易经 is the core of the knowledge of feng shui, Chinese medicine, tai ji, qi kung and many more.
There are qian gua, kun gua, li gua and kan gua in the South Korea flag. On top of that, there is a tai ji in the middle of the flag. The qian gua represents the heaven or the sky; kun gua indicates the earth, li gua is the Sun and whereas the kan gua is the Moon.
Also, the South Korean Presidential Residence has been build on a piece of land which is according to the theory of the左青龙 右白虎 前朱雀 后玄武zuo qing long, you bai hu, qian zhu qiao, hou xuan wu which mean the Green Dragon, White Tiger, Red Phoenix and Black Turtle. There is a hill at the back of the Presidential Residence. The land on the left of the Presidential Residence is higher than the right. There is a piece of ample land in front of the Presidential Residence.
