Father's Day Blessings | The Wisdom of Qian Gua (Heaven) in the I Ching: The Mountain-like Love of a Father & Ceaseless Self-Improvement!

Dear Friends and Followers, Blessings on this Father's Day!

On this auspicious Father's Day, I would like to share the profound essence of the first hexagram in the *I Ching* – Qian Gua (The Heaven Gua) – to contemplate the extraordinary significance of fathers within the cosmic order and human relationships, and to extend my sincerest wishes.

乾卦：纯阳至健，天行刚健

乾卦六爻皆阳，象征纯阳至刚、运行不息之天道。

父亲如乾天：

1.  创生与担当 (元)： 父亲如天，是家庭的创始者与支柱，为子女撑起一片成长的天空，肩负重任，默默耕耘。

2.  刚健与自强 (亨)： 父亲以乾天的刚健精神，自强不息，面对生活风雨，始终坚韧不拔，为家庭遮风挡雨，开辟亨通之路。此乃“天行健，君子以自强不息”之真谛！

3.  中正与榜样 (利)： 乾卦九五爻“飞龙在天，利见大人”，父亲往往居于“九五”尊位（非指权势，而是家庭中的核心与榜样），以其正直、公正的言行引导子女，树立做人的准则，此乃家庭和睦、子女成材之“利”。

4.  深远与成全 (贞)： 上九爻“亢龙有悔”提醒刚健亦需有度。父爱深沉，常默默付出，不事张扬，懂得适时放手（“群龙无首，吉”），让子女自由翱翔，成就其独立人格，此乃大智慧与大爱的“贞固”。

风水小贴士： 家中西北方为“乾”位，代表父亲及男主人的方位。此方位宜保持整洁、明亮、稳重，放置象征力量或金属物品（如圆形金属钟、泰山石等），有助于增强父亲的运势和健康。

The Father as Heaven (Qian):

1.  Origination & Responsibility (Yuan): Like Heaven, the father is the originator and pillar of the family, holding up the sky under which children grow, silently toiling under the weight of responsibility.

2.  Strength & Ceaseless Effort (Heng): Embodying Heaven's vigorous spirit, the father improves himself tirelessly (*"Tian Xing Jian, Jun Zi Yi Zi Qiang Bu Xi"* – "Heaven's movement is strong and dynamic; the superior person strives ceaselessly for self-improvement"). Facing life's storms with unyielding resilience, he shelters the family and carves a path of prosperity.

3.  Uprightness & Exemplary Role (Li): The Fifth Yang Line (九五) – *"Fei Long Zai Tian, Li Jian Da Ren"* ("Soaring Dragon in the Sky, it is beneficial to meet the great person") – signifies the father's position (not of power, but as the core and role model within the family). Through his integrity and just conduct, he guides his children, establishing principles for life. This is the *Li* (benefit/prosperity) that brings family harmony and children's success.

4.  Profoundness & Fulfillment (Zhen): The Top Yang Line (上九) – *"Kang Long You Hui"* ("Arrogant Dragon will have cause for regret") – reminds us that strength must have moderation. A father's love is deep; his giving is often silent and unassuming. He possesses the great wisdom (*Zhen* – constancy/perseverance) to know when to let go (*"Qun Long Wu Shou, Ji"* – "When dragons appear without a head, it is auspicious"), allowing his children to soar freely and achieve independence.

Master Lee's Feng Shui Tip: The Northwest sector of your home represents the Qian position, symbolizing the father and male head of the household. Keep this area clean, bright, and stable. Placing items symbolizing strength or metal (like a round metal clock, Tai Shan stone, etc.
